“While the service to order, and on-time delivery was great. As well the exterior of the cake and it's presentation was well done and pretty. We were so sorely disappointed that the cake itself (raspberry-sponge ripple) was quite crumbly and extremely dry, as if it had been baked a few days ahead of decoration. We used the cake ceremonially (as a bday cake) but ended up throwing it away, as it was not nice to enjoy.”

We are sorry for your experience with us didn’t match your expectations this time. We bake our products fresh daily, use all natural ingredients and make product quality a priority. The cake should be served at room temperature at which point the sponge should become light and fluffy and not be dry. We are not sure if you had stored it in the fridge, but this might explain the dry cake layers.
