“Beautifully presented, but sadly the cake itself was a huge let down. I'd heard nothing but good things about Cutter & Squidge, so purchased this one as a special cake for my mum's 60th birthday. It looked amazing - a real showstopper. However, the taste and textures just weren't that great. The icing was really oily and poorly flavoured. The sponge was quite thick and chewy, but plastic-y tasting. I had to double-check I hadn't ordered a vegan or gluten free version, as it just tasted really off. It was quite disappointing really, expecially for how expensive it was - no one really wanted a second slice!
Overall, I'm sadly not very impressed and won't be ordering from them again.”
