“Hi, this is my second order with Cutter and Squidge. My first order (15.08.20) was a chocolate hazelnut cake and this strawberry eaton mess cake. Both cakes were lovely. However, the recent order of the strawberry Eaton mess cake was disappointing. The cake was not the same high standard as my 1st order. The cake was very dry and didn't taste as good. It almost felt like it has been made a few days ago and have been left in the fridge waiting to be sent out on the selected delivery date. The meringue was not crunchy but a bit soggy. Not sure I will be ordering this cake again as I was not expecting myself to be disappointed. In fairness, the cake arrived looking flawless but the taste fell short and far from the same standard I was hoping for.”
