“Normally C&S cakes are delicious, well presented, and quite original. On this occasion, sadly, while the cake looked fabulous, the frosting tasted as if it was made with margarine. The cake was shared between 8 people in an office, but the unanimous opinion was that it wasn't tasty and the frosting & cream was very unpleasant indeed. Back to ordering the carrot & pumpkin cake!”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry for your experience with us didn’t match your expectations this time. We bake our products fresh daily, use all natural ingredients and make product quality a priority. The cake should be served at room temperature at which point the sponge should become light and fluffy. We are not sure if you had stored it in the fridge, but this might explain the dry cake layers.
