“My Yuzu and Mango Filled Chocolate Bar was mistakenly switched for a Cherry and Dark Chocolate by the picking & packing team but swiftly corrected by a returnless replacement of the correct product. I hate dark chocolate but as I could keep it I decided to try a piece of it and found – unlike every other dark chocolate I’ve ever tried – it not to be anywhere near as bad as expected, especially given it was 70% pure cacao. Not sure how they managed that as being filled with fruit jelly right the way through and containing juice mixed in with the chocolate never masks over the bitterness of high cacao content by any other brand, including single estate luxury bars, which makes Cutter & Squidge the only ones to have ever pulled this off – and that is pretty impressive. I think it tasted like bubblegum soap, which was a bit weird as you’re not supposed to swallow either of those things. I will be giving the rest away to a family member that doesn’t mind dark chocolate.”
