“The cake was too sweet, the filling between the base was a very thick like .. a hard cream of some sort! My son didn't like it either. Also, on the birthday message, I added in (..) some request to maybe not make it too sweet if possible, and while I would understand they can't custom adjust sugar, at least don't leave the request text in the card itself, had to throw it in the bin.”

“It's so nearly a good cake! The elements are pretty strong. The sponge and blueberry jam elements are just right. For me, the "cheesecake" layer needs work. Texturally it's a little too chalky to be in such large pieces. It also needs more inherent flavour or to be better layered with the aforementioned excellent blueberry jam. With a tweak, this could be a five star cake.”
