We are sorry that your experience with us didn’t match your expectations this time. We bake our products fresh daily, use all natural ingredients and make product quality a priority. Our cakes are chilled for transport purposes and it is important the cake is served at room temperature before serving. At which point the sponge should become light and fluffy and not be dry. We are not sure if you had stored it in the fridge, but this might explain the dry cake layers. “Firstly, you put so much thought and care in the packaging, so it arrived in tiptop condition.
The passionfruit flavour was so intense and amazingly delicious with a subtle pistachio flavour. Lovely light sponge and love the crispy balls and tang of the dried raspberries. It's a very moreish cake!
One request, please make the passionfruit and white chocolate cookies a permanent flavour, they were part of the Valentine's edition I think and were divine.
