“I bought this cake to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday. It was stated in the description that this cake includes some gold leaf decorations, “We finish this cake off by studding it with pistachios, freeze-dried raspberries, white chocolate pearls and 24 carat gold leaf.” However, there is no gold leaf to be found on the cake I received. I am very disappointed. It is such an embarrassment to present this cake for the birthday party as I advertised this cake according to what I read on the webpage.”

We recently made the decision to remove the gold finish to avoid increasing the price of the cake, in light of rising ingredient and labour costs. We completely understand how this may have been unexpected, and we’re truly sorry for the oversight.
