“I was lucky to get the last order in around midnight of the Valentine’s Day cut-off point so expected they’d probably run out of ingredients and make some substitutions but I didn’t think I’d get THREE of the same macaron (with one arriving broken) when three different flavours were listed by description so I missed out sampling the full menu and the chance won’t come around again until next year. It was also the first time I tried the chocolate Vegan Mini Cupcakes. I was lucky they were in the box as so many of the advertised flavours were missing; I found them bland and with that weird artificial vegan streak so it’s lucky in the end I didn’t get the chance to buy a whole half box of them last year – but I sated my curiosity! The only perks that raise it a star are the Fruity Mini Cupcakes being included in their typically visual and gustatory splendour and one of the substituted macarons was green pistachio with an aesthetic beauty in an otherwise bland-tasting shell.”

“They were interesting to try but not as delicious as the other cutter and squidge cakes that have been purchased in the past. They were interesting flavours but a little tougher than their soft delicious cakes we have experience before.”
“Excellent cakes. Dropping 2 stars because although website said you didn’t have to be in to take delivery and I gave delivery instructions, they were not delivered which meant stress and time and effort to collect them. Suggest you change your delivery partner from DPD.”
