Knowledge testing was truly a bad experience. One question allowed you to select all the options as well as having a box for all of the above. The questions about appropriate PPE for non-electrical workers are poor practice and could encourage workers to not utilize PPE. This training is well intentioned but really poorly thought out. The information tested on could have been presented in less than 10 minutes.

I am a certified electrician by trade, as well as a Health and Safety professional for the company that I work for. We thought it was a good idea to put all of our frontline workers through this course to get a better understanding and more respect for the hazards and risks of working with electricity. I thought the course was very engaging, and did not bore me throughout the course. So that was great to see. It had really good content and very easy to understand and follow. However I did find some of the Knowledge testing and final exam questions a little confusing at times, and I think some of the questions should be worded better. For example, the question ask "What is the main hazard of working in an open MCC Panel?" and the answer was "Burns to the skin". The hazard would actually be the explosion, fire and gases and debris flying out from the MCC that would CAUSE the burns to the skin. That is just one of several questions I found a little confusing. But, all in all, it was a great little training session. And happy to continue to put our frontline workers through it.
