“Like many other reviewers have pointed out, the wooden peg that holds the paper towel is too long and will not fit properly into the grooves of this holder. One solution I found is that you have to kind of tug and gently pull the legs apart and wiggle the peg into place. Unfortunately it can be a little more time consuming and may be difficult or hard on anyone with disabilities (in this case trimming down the peg would probably be best). I do love this holder so much but this is the biggest issue thus far.”
“I have to say this is the worst order I have ever received. Made cheaply and the paper towel bar comes loose constantly unless you screw the nut in tight but if you do that you have to use a screw driver every time you change the paper towel roll!”
“I love the look of this paper towel holder. I have been looking for an antique one for years. Only problem was the pads on the bottom of the legs. Only came with 3. I took those off and added felt pads instead. Had to put 2 pads on one leg because it was unlevel. It had to be tweaked. I love it now.”
“Love the look and sturdiness of the paper towel holder. Looks great in my kitchen. The only problem is the dowel that came with it to hold the towels is too long to fit in the holder. Currently looking for another dowel that will work. Decor steals customer service offered a partial refund since they could not provide a replacement dowel.”
