“I do like this (ALL!) lanterns & have ordered several from you, but it is a light-natural-wood, not a stained rich brown as pictured. I realize they won't all be the same however this has an unfinished look. I think I will try to apply an oil coating of some sort to brighten it. Also, the top is NOT attached as was incorrectly answered, but it is easily assembled with the screws included. (and mine matched the ones already in the hinge!) Decor Steals has never disappointed me”
