“I honestly wasn’t super impressed with these. I loved the idea of these because they are claimed to be “antique” and “found items.” That was really cool to me and I decided to order two. However, when I opened the box and turned the item over, there was a huge sticker on the back that says “made in India.” Definitely need some rewording in the description. My intention was to stack dinner plates in these and set them out for display. Based on the dimensions, it appeared they would work perfectly. However, the interior of the brick mold is only about 8 3/4 inches and not large enough for a dinner plate and too large for a salad plate.”
Hi Danielle, We apologize for any confusion. Our FOUND items, are truly found and authentic vintage items. The United States Customs requires any items being imported from other countries to be labeled with the country it was originally made in. This does not mean it was made recently, just that our buyers sourced the vintage piece and they were required to place a sticker showing where it was originally created. We hope this helps! “I ordered the double size brick mold when they were first available several months ago and I was so impressed with the quality when it arrived! It is made from THICK wood and is much heavier than I thought it would be, so it's nice and sturdy. The metal gives it a slight industrial look but not over the top, so I can see this being styled many different ways in any room of my home. The patina of the wood is antiqued- rich and naturally dark. Mine held Christmas cards and sprigs of greenery during the holidays, and now it sits prominently on my coffee table to hold coasters (they fit perfectly, btw) remotes, and a few other decorative items. The $5 shipping is what got me hooked the first time and now I'm buying a second one! These things would normally ship for much more from an antique dealer due to their sheer weight (did I mention that they are heavy?), but the ridiculously low price of the mold itself, plus the discounted shipping makes this a "must buy" if you are even thinking abut it!”
