“I bought a bird of paradise in April 2024 hoping that it would grow as I live in Colorado zone 5. When the plant arrived, it was around 30 inches tall and in an extremely healthy condition. I kept it in the same planter, thinking I would get around to planting it in a new one. I finally did replant "Birdie" in May 2025. Birdie is so big, she is taking over my front door and is around 6 feet tall and over 4 feet wide. However, as she continues to grow, I am going to have to replant her again this coming summer. So YES, buy this plant, if Birdie can grow in Colorado, she can grow anywhere. Anxiously waiting for her first flower!”
