“Thought these would restore proper hood lift on my 1952 Ford F-3 to normal operation (hood drooped). These new springs were worse than the 70 year-old springs I removed! Hood won't stay half-way up with 4 new springs. My solution will be to use additional springs inside these Carpenter hood springs. I do not recommend these springs, altho they are nicer looking than my old ones.”
