“☹️Front wind shield rubber gasket for 1971-1978 Pinto/Bobcat part number D5FZ-6203110-A Ford Restoration Parts by Dennis Carpenter since 1970 dose not fit correctly. Gasket is to long by approximately 1.5 inches. Bought this gasket through Kearny Mesa Ford in San Diego. Plastic container bag listing D5FZ6203110A. Weatherstrip - WINDOW (Front) with Dennis Carpenter decal for Ford Restoration Parts phone number: 704-786-8193. Original gasket still fits but the lower corners are dry rotted and cracked. Going to have to cut down Dennis Carpenter gasket at the top and butt joint the gasket with sealer and hope it works!”

“This company has definitely went downhill. I’ve been buying for over 40 years and recent orders so slow to get out got a door hinge today and it’s the worst quality that I’ve ever saw in your car and they’re always closed.”

“After receiving the back glass seal to fit on Dennis Carpenter Sliding back window, the seal was so long it could not be installed by me or professional glass installers and after multiple attempts with crystal in their return/technical department did not reach a resolution when all she had to do was replace the $50.00 part after we spent thousands of dollars there. she argued it was correct part and it was our fault we couldn't make it work. purchased a seal from LMC truck which was a snug fit, had to stretch it to put it on the window, the LMC truck seal was proper and made installation easy like it should have been. We had the same problem with their windshield seal and had to purchase another manufacturers seal for that as well. watch out ordering DC's window seals they don't fit right....”

“I bought a set of inner beauty rings for a 1940 Ford. They came with no instructions and don't just snap on. When I called and explained I didn't understand where the clips needed to attach the tech said what they sent didn't come with clips. After describing the item I was sent the tech started explaining where the clips go (the ones he just said it didn't have) and maybe I didn't have the correct wheels. I figured it out on my own. I'm not the smartest person in the world and don't know everything about these cars but you won't get or keep my business by talking to me like I'm stupid! On top of all that the listing says it will appear as if you have a chrome wheel. It doesn't There is still two gaps between the rings where paint shows so it doesn't make the wheel appear to be a chrome wheel .”

“I have bought parts from here going back to my 1955 F-100 in 1979. I have only had one problem and it was just lately. I ordered door gaskets for my 1948 Ford f-1. Order came quick as usual. I checked package every thing appeared good but just the other day I started to install door gaskets only to find no bottom gasket for either door. When I called to ask about maybe getting replacements I was told they only come as a 3 piece set for each door. I guess who ever bagged mine didn't know that.”

“I ordered parts on 11 Feb, had a USPS shipping number on the morning of the 12th. Still not in USPS hands on the 14th. The truck cannot move without these parts. The shipping department is doing a terrible job. jh”

“Ordered 2 doors for my 69 bronco one was trash smashed during shipping I guess could be before it was shipped don't know for sure but dennis carpenter customer service won't replace it so I guess I payed 1000.00 for one door I'll order another one from another vender”
