“I had a set of strips from back in 2018. Installed the right side and fit perfect. Was a tad hard to close the door cause they needed to be formed. Now the door closes beautifully with a full solid seal! But I kinda ruined the left one in a way, so I bought a set of the new ones. Little did I know the newest strips are completely different. The thick area to the top, front edge of the door is very THICK compared to the old style. The door had to stress a LOT in order to close! And after sitting for a few days, the door still pops open hard! So I removed it and installed the old style with the minor screw up I did and now the door is perfect. Not sure why they did a re-design on these. I think they’re made in China now. I cannot recommend the recent weather strips.”
