“Completely wrong for my 1959.. Mine has a top mounted unit with a short arm float. This one fits the hole in the tank, but is boxed in and goes to the bottom of tank with a long arm for float. No way to adjust the float arm remotely accurately. If you bend the arm even in the same ballpark as where it would need to be, then you can’t get it in the tank bc of the angle and the arm is so long. It’s just wrong all the way around.. very disappointing and took longer to get than expected..”
