“This is not a direct replacement for the orginal tray. 2" longer and not all the mounting holes line up. Barely fits in the space. Same shape but bigger. Battery clamp does not work because of the extra length. Had to come up with my own hold down.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review regarding our battery tray, C2SZ-10764-A. We’re sorry to hear you experienced an issue with the fitment. We're guessing that you have a 1963-64 Galaxie. According to Ford, this tray was used in all 1960-62 Galaxies. But, in 1963-64 models it was used specifically in models equipped with a big block FE engine, as noted in the product information. If your 1963-64 Galaxie has a factory-installed small block (260, 289ci.), Ford shows the correct battery tray would be part number C3AZ-10764-C, but both style battery trays using our C5DZ-10718-A battery clamp.
