I was satisfied with the ABS firewall cover enough that I bought a second one for my other truck. You'll spend about 20 minutes with an exacto knife to open up the appropriate holes as needed for your particular truck. You should buy about 3-4 metal plugs, sold separately, because you are bound to bend 1 or 2 trying to drive them in. You'll only need the bottom plugs as the upper portion of the cover will be held in place by the heater, steering column, fuse box et al. You will spend time aligning the holes using the exacto knife and a probe, such as a philips screwdriver while you install the heater, gas pedal and parking brake mechanism. By the time you've installed those items the cover should be firmly in place for you to push the bottom plugs in place. I saved that for last as I wanted ability to install sound deadener and carpet/mat and tuck it under the cover. I feel it's a more durable alternative to the pressboard options available. A little pricey for sure, but it looks nice and should last a long time.
