“Very impressed with this reproduction. Steel weight is same or maybe heavier than OEM. Fit is also great. I will say the spot welds are more noticeable than OEM, but I did not do anything more than grind off the high spots, as I felt they added character. I gave four stars over five due to packaging that allowed shipper to inflict two small dents, that I felt were ok to leave as is.”

“I'm sure that this actual tailgate is of high quality and worth 5 stars, however I am still not certain of that because I have been sent the wrong tailgate twice. The Dennis Carpenter Inventory/Shipping department must have major problems because this should not happen twice. If this poor service has happened to me twice, it must be happening a lot. So now, I have to haul this heavy item up to the UPS store just like I did three months ago. It may be worth buying this item from NPD and pay the extra $200 shipping because I have never had a problem with their customer service. Buyer beware. Very unsatisfied customer.”
