“Designing with natural materials is not something that is encouraged due to the fact there’s not a lot of information available. And appears in order to utilize it. You need to have special contractors who are familiar with his work and I’m not sure there is a competitive market out there to help keep the cost down. They got the idea is it is extremely interesting based on the information that we received in this lecture. And I believe you need to have a specialized project where you can work this into it appears this is another avenue of development that requires a substantial amount of education from the architect with support from the specialized contractors so that we can interpolate a scale cost issues with coordinating with other subcontractors, and the architect either becomes becomes the contractor. Then this would be jump of Faith by the owner sorry to say.”

“Very informative. I would have liked more comparisons of the natural insulation's to the more manufactured products like foam fiberglass etc. The plus’s and minus’s of the different materials that could be used to inform our clients and builders.”

“Good subject matter, well-presented. My one suggestion is that it is very difficult to squeeze the material into a one-hour presentation and may benefit from being expanded slightly into a two-hour module. While the example projects provided are truly impressive, the portions relating to how we might all more fully embrace design using natural materials felt a little rushed.”
