“I met Barbara in Orlando over 30 years ago while I was still a student at the Ringling School of Art and Design. She was then working for Ellerbe Becket, and I was very interested in pursuing a career in designing for elderly and disabled populations. I asked her to lunch so we could discuss the topic and she graciously agreed to do that. She was very helpful in guiding me toward various resources and also offered much advice. Barbara is a real asset to the design community!”
