“This is a great desk for home use. I decided to pay the extra for the solid oak top and I’m glad I did as it looks great.
One small niggle is that the pilot holes drilled on the underside of the desk top could have been been a bit deeper as it wasn’t so easy getting the screws all the way in. Such holes are probably fine for a veneer covered chipboard desktop but for solid wood a deeper hole would be better.
The desk was very well packaged for shipping and hence well protected from possible damage.”
