“The lanterns are so bright that having a shade makes a big difference. We use them for our scout troop. Four of these lanterns like the Camp side up like Day Time. Will put one behind each patrol box. The nice thing is they don’t usually get broken or lost like our old lanterns. We usually pull the heads and charge them in the back of one of the cars on the ride up. Will recharge them off of solar once were camping. But we use a little Jackery a solar panel for that. That way, the boys can charge up their phones and other things at the same time.”
“I added the filter kit as a way to adjust the brightness of my Lightranger. Works great for providing enough light to see clearly, but not destroy your vision outside the ring of light.
