“The Astronomical Society of Nevada is apublic service organization. We requested a donation of a LightRanger 800 to serve as a red safety light during nightime telescope viewing by the general public. A scratched or dented light would be fine for our use. We were told that we would receive the light free of charge, but the red filter kit would need to be purchased separately. We agreed and purchased the red filter at the regular price. When the LightRanger 800 did not arrive we contacted Devos and they said they would look into it and get back to us. This never happened. After many weeks of waiting and needing the light for public safety, a member was forced to purchased the light at the regular price. The light is good but your company is not managing donations to charatible organizations in a professional maner. See email text below.

“The LightRanger 800 is a phenomenal addition to my camping setup. The light, while only 800 lumens, is more than plenty to keep the campsite illuminated. The setup is easy as pie, the light holds a charge for a long time, and with the light cover kit I was able to put red and amber lighting in the camp instead of white light.
