“I like this accessory a lot. I’ve seen some of the reviews mention how wobbly it is, which it is however it stays on during gusty winds and feels very stable so that can easily dismissed as a concern. The quick release is very handy to quickly deploy the Starlink mini off and on.”
Hi Steve! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on the Starlink Mini Mount. We’re glad to hear it stays put during gusty winds and that you find the quick release really handy. Your feedback about wobbliness is noted, and we’re happy it hasn’t affected reliability in practice.
Thanks again for the review and for choosing our accessory!
Kind regards,
Team Devos Outdoor
“We use our Starlink Mini mounted inside our Jeeps and RV while traveling, and it works perfectly on the move. Once we get to camp, if the signal is still good, we just leave it alone.
But when trees start blocking Elon’s satellites from beaming us high-speed internet, the Mini has to go outside. The question becomes: where?
On the ground where it can get stepped on, tripped over, or run over? No thanks.
We mount ours on top of our Devos 2000 light stand, which can be securely staked down and positioned at about eye level so it’s easy to see and avoid around camp.”
Thank you so much Douglas! We’re glad to hear it’s working well for you not just for lighting, but as a stable, elevated mounting point to keep your Starlink Mini safely off the ground when trees interfere with the signal.
Using the stake-down stability and adjustable height to improve visibility and reduce trip hazards is exactly the kind of practical field problem-solving we love to see.
We really appreciate you taking the time to share how you’re using your gear out on the road. Thanks again for your support!
