I just mounted this and found that the button that should hold it in place won’t pop out when I slide the light on Other than it seems great

SeaSucker 2000 mount. For Horizontal Orientation: This product would benefit by incorporating an adjustment into the bracket. Most of the glass surfaces that I will mount it to have a slight angle. With the current non-adjusting bracket, the light sits up at an angle. This angle will project some of the light up and may not provide the desired lighting. Easy to assemble. The Mount's suction is strong.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the SeaSucker LightRanger Mount and for highlighting how strong and easy it is to assemble, while also noting how an adjustable bracket could improve horizontal use for more controlled campsite lighting with your LightRanger 2000.
