“The solar panel works but the light drains the battery faster than the solar panel can supply power, given we haven’t had a lot of sun light, I willing to overlook that for now and test when we have some sunny days.
Number two issue … I have a motion sensor for the light but there is no option to use the solar panel and the motion light at the same time … someone should read this for when you make the upgraded model. I even purchased a splitter with a single male connector and two female connectors. Still won’t work. Begs asking why have a motion sensor and a solar panel if they cannot work together? Having the motion sensor allows it to go off if someone enters your space. Having a solar panel should recharge the light after a night of raccoons and other critters running through the zone. But they do not seem to work well with one another. You need to create a fix for this, and when you do, I’ll be waiting for you to send it to me!”

Thank you for sharing your feedback, we greatly appreciate it! I completely understand what you're trying to accomplish, and your use case makes sense.
The LightRanger 2000 does support both the Motion Sensor and solar charging. The Motion Sensor plugs directly into the LightRanger's USB-C port, and the sensor has an additional USB-C connection that can be used for another device.
If you are trying to run the solar panel through the Motion Sensor while the Motion Sensor is connected to the LightRanger, that is the setup I would recommend rather than using a separate USB-C splitter.

“Panel works as advertised and charged the light during daytime hours. I think it might be nice if the fit atop the light was a bit more secure but it hasnt falled off and worked as it should.”
