“I purchased the Reccaro elite car seat and the item had a fault , making it unsafe to use for my newborn baby . Contacted Direct4baby and spoke to Jay who stated he would contact Reccaro for a response. Two weeks later I was still waiting and without a car seat, having spent nearly £400.00 and still no resolution . The reason for the poor review is because Legally, under the Sale and Supply of Goods Act, the retailer, Direct4baby are responsible for issuing a refund or exchange not Reccaro . The fact Jay was not willing to implement this abs resolve the issue, makes me believe staff in this condo by are not adequately trained or equipped to deal with issues such as mine . As such I am still without a car seat and £400 out of pocket with no resolution . Needless to say I will not be shopping here again and warning others of the same . If I could give 0 stars I would do, even 1 is generous, having to chase for something which should have been offerred to me first point of contact .”
