“Very disappointed with this kit. When I ordered it, the web page photo indicated it was Magnor brand, which I've used before. When it arrived, it was a different brand. I contacted DPS, and they said they don't stock the Magnor brand any more, and I could have the existing kit for half price. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
They have since changed their web page to reflect the Aussie Gold brand they supply.
However, the test kit is inferior to the Magnor brand. The total alkalinity test does not work ... it doesn't indicate a colour when used as directed. It goes clear when the coloured drops are added, meaning I can't get an alkalinity reading to show if I need to add bi-carb.
I don't recomment the Aussie Gold brand test kit.”
