“It's a great towel. Beautiful and holds the promise of sand not sticking to it and it stays dry. However, once washed a few times, the towels surface looks a bit worn.”

The essentials for taking care of your Dock & Bay are:
- Cold machine wash (under 30 degrees). After the first few washes it's ok to turn up the heat.
- The pouches are hand wash only and should not go in the washing machine.
- Try not to use fabric softener, as over time it can reduce the absorbency of the towel. Using fabric softener will not destroy your towel the first time it is used, but over time, it can degrade the performance of your product, and we want it to last as long as possible for you!
- Tumble drying is ok if you need to, but air-drying is kinder to your Dock & Bay.

This being said, the towel is expensive and there are more cost effective options available. “I really like to towel because it folds up really small and therefore it's easy to take with you when you are traveling. I also made the experience that if sand gets on the towel, you can just shake it of. If the sand is went you might ned to let it dry and then shake it of.”
