“I’ll be honest, when my Dock & Bay Quick Dry Towel first arrived, I wasn’t completely convinced! I’m so used to using a thick, soft towel that I was unsure how something so lightweight and thin would actually perform — especially with children.
But after using it on holiday, I was pleasantly surprised. The Feelin’ Good design is fun and colourful, and the prints were actually what first caught my eye. However, it was the quick-drying feature that really won me over. After swimming, it warmed my children up really well and dried exceptionally quickly, which was a huge bonus when we were constantly going from the pool to the beach and back again.
The towel is also much bigger than I expected. It covered the whole sun lounger, and it was brilliant for lying on the sand at the beach too. Despite being so lightweight, it still feels big enough to properly wrap yourself up in, while being much easier to pack than a traditional bulky towel.
I’m really happy with the quality and, having initially been unsure about the thinness, I was genuinely impressed by how well it worked. I would definitely recommend it to others, particularly for holidays, swimming and beach days. It has definitely changed my mind about what a good holiday towel needs to be!
There are lots of lovely designs to choose from, although I do think there could be even more options. My 6-year-old couldn’t find a design he really loved, and I couldn’t quite please my 20-year-old either! A few more designs for boys and older children/teenagers would make an already great range even better.
Overall, I went from wondering whether I’d actually like this towel to genuinely being impressed by it. I’d definitely choose it again — and I think the fact that it surprised me is probably the best compliment I can give it!”

“We decided to buy dock & bay after my son was bought a towel to go travelling. We have been camping for years and had various towels but these are a cut above. Dry so quick and fold up small, which in a campervan is premium totally recommend”
