“Not really a towel, more of a very thin cloth. I returned the item and had to chase up a refund. It took 10 days to the refund to go through. Now 11 months later you’re emailing me for a review. Not overly impressed”

Hey Andrew, We're sorry to hear you didn't love your Dock and Bay towels. We upload lots of imagery and videos to show how the towels move and look as well as close-ups of the fabric so that customers know we don't feel like traditional cotton beach towels. We also include what they are made of in the product description. I understand your expectations were different despite all of this, and we're sorry to hear that you had to chase for a refund. Our refunding process does tend to take a bit of time as your return has to be shipped, received, processed and recorded by the warehouse, and then sent to the Dock & Bay team for a refund. We are working on streamlining this experience so that future returns can go a bit smoother, and we do appreciate your feedback :)

Hey Louise, I'm sorry to hear you're having issues getting your towel to absorb water- this shouldn't be the case. We always test our towels for absorbency and do tons of quality checks before they ever leave the design room, so our towels should always leave you happy and dry for many years to come! If you need any drying tips please do feel free to email us at help@dockandbay.com, we'd be happy to make sure you're as dry as possible 🙌 As for the cost of our towels, all of our products are designed with love for the planet and sustainability. 🌎💖. Everything is made from 100% recycled plastic, it is all quick drying, our beach towels are sand-free, pack down small for travel, and boast tons of different beautiful designs and colours! ✨ They're designed to last and last and last, so the price may be a bit higher, but you'll wind up with a product that doesn't need to be replaced in a year from now :)
