“I bought a Cherries patttern dress in Size 20. It was a lovely dress and I really liked the fabric, however, it was far too big.
So I purchased the May Blue cross over dress in size 18. I was a little tight and far too long in the body. I am 5"1 or 157cm tall. So I adjusted the shoulder straps to make it shorter which then resulted in it fitting me better in the torso. Then I purchased the soft petticoat from Dolly and Dotty. The end result was a lovely dress which was just perfect for a 1950's themed party.”
