“I am a true pear shape and the waistbands on all Donajo skirts has me confused. There is no elastic in the top portion of the waist where it sits 2-3 inches above the seam that holds the under shorts. Am I supposed to sew in my own elastic? Because it will not stay up if I don’t? I could see if it had an inner drawstring but there is nothing besides the stretchy fabric, and that does not hold the skirt up above my hips - it just rolls down. Help!?!”
“Cute fabric, nice line. I ordered an XL for longer shorts and skirt. The extended waistband was so loose. I had to sew it in six places to make the skirt fit properly. I would’ve exchanged for a smaller size to try, but the exchange process is pretty cumbersome when you’re only allowed to do it once. As a new customer for this brand, I found the whole thing up, waiting for the return label to be issued, and then having replacement I had them sent only after I sent in the items very cumbersome.”
