“I wanted so much to keep one of these tennis skirts in one of these beautiful patterns -- but they just didn't fit. I am 5'4" and 135 pounds with an athletic build (slim hips). I am in reasonably good shape for my 67 years. Most people would say I look fit. I am accustomed to waists being tight in some brands since I have slim hips and, like most older people, my waist elasticity is just not what it used to be!
I started with a size medium which almost always fits me. In this line, I felt like I was squeezing myself into a tight tube. I recognized immediately I needed to upsize to a large. Sometimes if a manufacturer has true sizing and a tight fit, a large is a more comfortable size for me. When I received the large, it too was fairly tight. My little bit of belly clearly showed and my loose waist was bulging over the top. At this point, I was forced to accept the fact that I just can't wear this brand with the beautiful patterns.
The company's customer service was terrific. Although mostly online, they answered me quickly both times I contacted them. They twice made adjustments to the price to make sure I got the "new customer" discount that I clumsily did not enter correctly on both purchases. They were so great.

Thank you for the feedback! We are sorry to hear the skirt did not work for you. I'd like to suggest the Court Skirt, it is a 14.5'' skirt but in size 2 (L) it will be approximately 15.5''. This style has a compression waistband and an elastic at the top, it's been a great addition to our line. We are currently offering 35% off site-wide so now it would be a great time to try!
