“I’m so happy my extensions blend so nicely . I’m so glad I tried extensions to help grow out a bad haircut I got someplace else . Love the look fantastic job thank to so much”
“My stylist has been using tape in extensions in my hair for years. We were using a brand called Ninfas. The packaging for them is nicer, and they're a bit more expensive. However, after using the Donna Bella extensions, we've switched. The main differences are that they last longer then the previous brand, and they don't tangle at the nape of my neck as easily. The set that is currently in my hair has been reapplied once after the initial application. And if I chose to, I would be able to have them reapplied again. With the Ninfas, I could only get one reapplication before the quality had deteriorated enough that I couldn't use them. I'm sold on Donna Bella!”
“I have bought Donna Bella hair for YEARS and have had nothing but positive experiences, and while their customer service/sales team is still AMAZING, their product has really took a dive.
The prices have gone up (a lot) and the amount of hair in each weft has SERIOUSLY gone down. I was so confused when I first got them and held them in my hand because it felt so much thinner, I thought "maybe I'm crazy and it's just because they're so new and soft"...then I put them in and realized it's because they are so much thinner...significantly.
So disappointing. I immediately took them out and put my old ones back in. I'm sorry but old tape-in's should NOT be twice as thick as the brand new ones :( Such a waist of $60.”
Hey Trisha! Thank you for leaving your honest review and thank you for being such a great local customer for years. It is true that hair prices tend to go up (and while we don't love to do it, but we'll have to again on April 2!) due to production costs. It is also true that every year since we started, we've received comments from different customers feeling like our hair is getting thinner per pack (in looking into purchase history, we usually see a pattern of them buying less packs than before, reinforcing the feeling of not having enough). We cannot argue about perception, but I'm willing to confirm that we do have guidelines for every pack needing to fall within a certain range in grams. Anyhow, for what it's worth, we do hope you try us again!
