“I have used it on several occasions and loaned it to a family member. We both found that it caused sharp zapping pains no matter how we adjusted the unit.”

Hi Carla! This can be avoided by spraying water generously on the pads before use and every time you change the position of the pads if you do so in between treatments. We also recommend starting at a lower intensity and then working your way up. Thank you!
