“The blade cover detached too easily during use. Bit of a nuisance.
Would be better designed if you didn’t have to get tools out to dismantle it from the grinder. Ie some kind of quick release mechanism. Either that, or buy a second grinder and leave it assembled.”
“At first glance the build quality of the shroud (particularly the clamping ring) looks flimsy and of poor quality, however once assembly was started the shroud and clamping ring were found to be fit for purpose.
Unfortunately I haven’t had chance to use the shroud for its intended purpose i.e. preparation for repointing brickwork, but I’m confident that it will be a valuable asset.”
“The main body is very well made and works well. The adapter rings are 3D printed and of poor quality. The screws are too close to the edge and came loose during first use.”
