“Bought the shroud a few months ago and now have used it a few times.
When teamed up with My Nilisk dust extractor there is absolutely no dust at all.The shroud is amazing.
Before I had the shroud after about 5 seconds It was being in a Saharan sandstorm. You could not see in front of your face and the dust went everywhere, I was hoovering up for days.
The grinder comes with several spacers which allows it to be fitted to any grinder.
It also comes with a spacer for the grinding disc. I did not fit this straight away and when I came to use the grinder it was a job to push the grinder onto the floor as the stiff bristles on the shroud base kept the grinding disc away from the floor.
I put the spacer on and that helped, although you still needed a lot of pressure to push the grinder to the floor.
I did think about cutting the bristles down but decided against this and after a few more uses the bristles seem to give a bit, and I needed less pressure on the grinder.
I have only used it on a floor pushing down, using it on a vertical surface like a wall might take a bit more effort.
I would also like to say the customer service was excellent. When I rang up and ordered it spoke to a very helpful lady and the item was with me the next day Brilliant.
Would definitely use the company again.”

If you cutting material with a cutting wheel or abrasive wheel it doesn’t collect the dust on the underside so it defeats the object.”

However, neither the end of the shroud or the adapter are compatible with the end on my nilfisk. Not happy since I’ve seen similar items elsewhere at half the price and was swayed this way due to the aforementioned review.”

While this shroud is designed to fit most small tool vacuum hoses, there are many variations of vacuum models, which means in some instances an adapter may be required.

“I used the dust shroud when grinding down high spots on a concrete floor with my Bosch angle grinder and grinding wheel. Normally without a shroud this would be a very dusty job. The dust shround came with a numer of adaptors to cater for different angle grinder makes. Using one of these, it fitted my grinder perfectly. Using a dust extractor plugged into the shroud there was surprisingly very little dust. It did the job well.”
