Apr 20 - May 3, 2026 | Join photographer Liron Gertsman on a Bird Photography Tour and Workshop to Ecuador. Ecuador is widely considered to be the best country on Earth for bird photography. The lodges here are relatively easy to get to, and perfectly designed for observing and photographing avian life. During this bird photography tour, we’ll spend time photographing birds at feeding stations set up for photography, as well as in natural forest settings.

“Our guide, Liron, was an excellent birder, photographer, and guide. It was a wonderful trip with a high bird count. All the people in our group got along well and were interesting to be with. We saw many different environs, each with it's own species of birds. The lodges were good as were the meals. While the days were long, we wouldn't miss a minute. Great trip. Highly Recommended!”

“Ican not rave enough about this 2 week whirlwind birding photography tour in Ecuador with Liron. I came into the trip as an amateur photographer and a very novice birder. I can say with confidence that Liron has made me so much better at both. Liron is an excellent teacher. He's kind, patient, extremely knowledgeable and so excited to share that knowledge with everyone. Although there were just too many amazing experiences during the trip to choose a favourite moment, one of the most unique moments from the trip was doing a hummingbird photo studio shoot. This is something that I never would have dreamed of attempting. I will end this by saying that if you're on the fence about taking this trip, just do it. It will be the trip of a lifetime.”
