Aug 22 - 31, 2026 | The southern shores of Nova Scotia acts as a hotspot stopover for hundreds of migrating warblers, shorebirds and raptors, before they make their way south. Our Nova Scotia birding tour will take in this incredible fall bird migration spectacle. In addition, we will explore a variety of habitats looking for resident birds including some boreal species. We will also take a boat tour to view a spectacular array of pelagic species, from shearwaters, puffins and kittiwakes to jaegers and phalaropes, and there is always the possibility of a rarer species showing up—and then of course there are the great whales!

Excellent tour in a beautiful province. Two of the best bird guides we have ever worked with - friendly, fun, excellent spotting skills, took us to places that were very birdy. Accommodations were very good to excellent, restaurants were excellent.

This birding tour was fabulous and exceeded my expectations. Our guides Dominic and James are rich in experience and knowledge about birds, but in other areas pertaining to wildlife and conservation, ..for me, it was a bonus to have learned so much from them. They also made great efforts to find rarities for us to see. As it was my first time visiting Nova Scotia, I benefitted from Dominic's familiarity of the province's amazing history, too. Our accommodations and dining choices were all good, some great. In our short time, we covered a vast variety of scenic seascapes, parks and picturesque towns, ..I'd say our days were very full, memorable and enjoyable!

My Eagle-Eye Tour to Nova Scotia was great. The management prepared the group with all the information necessary to get started, and the principle guide, Dominic, took care of the rest. I was introduced to many lifers which was exciting, and got to appreciate the different sides of NS. The marshes, dikes, bays and beaches.
