We will look for migrants, residents and Mexican rarities. This trip is filled with diverse species including the Violet-Crowned Hummingbird, Vermilion Flycatcher, and Arizona Woodpecker! “This was a wonderful chance to see the many beautiful birds of the Patagonia and Portal areas of SE Arizona. The guides were highly skilled and fun to bird with. They were generous with their knowledge and expertise and seemed to enjoy seeing the birds as much as the participants. It was a nice pace. The hikes were moderate to easy and we moved efficiently between sites. We saw 148 species only dipping on a few—so I have the perfect excuse to return. I felt well-taken care of and cared for the entire week.”

“This was a wonderful tour! I really appreciated all the COVID precautions put in place by Eagle-Eye and felt safe as everyone understood and followed precautions. Trip was well organized and both guides were terrific. They were aware of rare sightings and endeavored to find these rare birds as well as local inhabitants. I highly recommend Eagle-Eye. It is well organized and responsive with great guides!”

“This was my first birding tour. I will definitely travel again with Eagle-eye birding tours. Our guides were very knowledgeable and paid attention to all members of the group regardless of birding skill levels. I would have liked our lunch meal times shorter, possibly having a lunch menu available on the shuttle bus and ordering before our arrival could be arranged. Also we did not follow the stops as outlined in the app, but this could have been due to Covid, bird sightings etc. Our replacement guide Louie was exceptional, and certainly made the tour professional and educational.”

“This was a most enjoyable birding tour. The guides, Louie Dombrowski and Skye Haas were exceptional and the birds were wonderful. Logistics, even in the time of Covid-19, were well managed.”

“Well planned and executed; leaders were very personable, highly competent and always ready to improve. Group was excellent and their interaction with the leaders enhanced the enjoyment of the trip considerably. Love to do it again.”
