Superb short tour combining great birds and great scenery. Adam Kent was conscientious -- scoping out birds in advance and looking after individual participants. A highlight was a dinner with American Bird Conservancy's expert on islands. The lengthy pelagic trip produced significant finds. All in all, highly recommended.

The Central-California birding tour was my fourth Eagle-Eye tour and everyone, while quite different well planned and carried out. The tour includes some of California's most spectacular scenery (Point Reyes National Seashore, Yosemite National Park, Mono Lake and the Monterey Peninsula and Bay) while offering excellent birding opportunities. During my 2017 trip we recorded nearly 200 species including several rarities like: Yellow-billed Magpie, Hermit Warbler, Ridgeway's Rail, Guadalupe, Scripps', and Craveri's Murrelet's and Black-vented Shearwater. The tour is somewhat rigorous, as the birding sites span the entire central portion of the state from the coast to the mountains. But the rewards in terms of scenic beauty and potential life-birds makes the tour well worth-while. And, as in all of the Eagle-Eye tours I've been on the guide was excellent and the dining and lodging very-good to excellent.
