Seeing the Monarch butterflies as they were ready to fly was spectacular! Seeing all the different country side as we were driving from one area to another was really something to see! The birding was great! Learned and smiled a lot!

Seeing the Monarchs starting their spring trip was fabulous. The birding was great too.

Guides were excellent! Knew the birds, also quite attentive to our needs, and excellent translators. Although I went on the tour for the birds, the butterfly sanctuary was a real highlight. Also enjoyed seeing the various ecosystems (from fir mountains to cactus forests), and sensing the culture by driving through all the small towns, cities - the people, the architecture, the archeological ruins. A very well-rounded trip although physically demanding. Excellent trip, excellent guides, would highly recommend this trip.

This tour lived up to its name. We saw the wonder of monarchs, well over 200 bird species as well as many of the endemics. Our guides were incredible at locating the birds and helping the participants get on the bird. We stayed in some amazing hotels especially the Hacienda de Cortes. I wouldn't hesitate to go on another trip with these guides again.

I have travelled several times with Eagle-Eye. I like their tours because they are done at a reasonable pace and, in addition to birds, cover the nature and culture that the surroundings offer. On the Central Mexico Tour, we spent a delightful afternoon with the Monach Butterflies and spent part of another day at the Cacaxtla archaeological site. BIrds were definitely foremost and we rarely missed a species. Hector Gomez de Silva and Jody Allair were tops, like all the guides I have travelled with on Eagle-Eye tours.

Hector is our favorite Eagle-Eye guide, and this tour was excellent as usual. Not only does he know every bird in Mexico, he grew up in this area, so we were able to see its history through his eyes. I have vision problems, and appreciate his patience in helping me find and ID birds. We highly recommend Hector and his Mexican tours.
