I thought our trip to Guayana was wonderful. Our guide Paul from Ontario was superb. He knew the birds and countryside and was also very personable and helpful to we paying customers. In addition we had knowledgable local guides everywhere we went. The food was good and our accommodations were always interesting and generally comfortable. The countryside and wilderness are not to be missed. One of the highlights for me was flying in the little plane over the jungle and seeing one little road running through trackless jungle. And ,of course, the birds! It has been 3 years and my memory is shorter every year but finding the Cock-of-the Rock after our hike through the cave, seeing our personal long-sought for sighting of the Harpy Eagle including an immature that posed for us for as long as we wanted to watch and on the last day the tree full of Sun Parakeets were all exceptional experiences. I highly recommend this trip!
