Aug 3 - 12, 2026 | On our New Brunswick and Grand Manan birding tour we will experience the shorebird fall migration spectacle in the Bay of Fundy, the boreal forest birds in Fundy and Kouchibouguac National Park, and the seabirds off shore of Grand Manan. We will look for Razorbills, Great Shearwater, Red Phalarope, Boreal Chickadee, White-winged Crossbill, thousands of migrating Semipalmated Sandpipers, as well as Humpback and other whales.

“The guides were great, the birds were terrific, the other participants were wonderful. I would have liked a little more attention to people like me who have done some birding but are by no means expert. Apart from that, everything was magical, I wish I were still on the trip!”

“Jared Clarke was very disengaged throughout this trip. He and the life birds I might see were the main reason I took this trip so that was disappointing. Sarah was enthusiastic and fun, helping find some of those life birds. Lodging on Gran Manan at the Marathon Inn was TERRIBLE.”

Hi Monica. Thank-you for submitting your feedback for this tour. Please note that we no longer stay at the hotel in question after receiving feedback that it was inadequate. Unfortunately Jared had received some sad family news shortly before starting the tour and he was not his usual self. He is a very accomplished birder and a fantastic guide and we are sorry that in this instance you were not able to experience him at his best. “This tour combines birding with whale watching. The birding includes woodland and seashore species. Birding on Grant Manan Island is a highlight. The birding guides were excellent and ensured that everyone saw their target species, along with some we were surprised to see.”
