This is the birding Mecca tour! Adam and Steve were top-notch guides who went the extra mile in locating rare birds. Eagle Eye is a great tour company that takes great care of the fine details. The number of birds we saw was overwhelming. The number of rare birds was unexpected!! The guides made sure that we photographers had good viewing angles. A small group of 11, we quickly bonded into birding force! Although the days are long and they start very early, the group was up for the challenge. I highly recommend Eagle Eye tours and the Point Pelee trip. This is my 3rd trip with them and they are now my go-to birding company.

For the keen birder who understands that getting up at 5 am is best for seeing birds in action. Flexibility in schedule allowed some of us to join the group” later. Small group means getting to know people and generally everyone seeing the birds. Paul and Tim were Great guides, attending to everyone’s needs. Picnic lunches were great allowing more birding time. This is the second time I’ve taken this trip the first time five years ago..

Professional and knowledgeable guides knew not just bird ID, but habitat and other native fauna. Eagle-Eye really took care of us and was so easy to work with when the first couple times this tour was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Great trip! Our group spotted 103 bird species in Point Pelee, and I have a pin to prove it. We worked out way from Port Credit to Niagara Falls, Point Pelee, Algonquin Park and back to Mississauga.

This tour takes place during the spring migration and offers birders the opportunity to bird a selection of Ontario's hot spots. Colonel Sam Smith Park, Port Dalhousie, Point Pelee, Hillman Marsh, Rondeau Provincial Park, Blenhiem sewage lagoons, Long Point Provincial Park, Backus Woods, Carden Alvar and Algonquin Park each offer a distinctive habitat and contribution to the species list of 192 birds. Two days are associated with a long drives. The first day is lengthened by an unnecessary side trip to Niagara Falls. Overall the organization of the trip is first rate and the guides are exactly what you would expect from Eagle Eye.

This tour was delightful, in part because the guides were so excellent. In addition to all the fabulous avian creatures, we saw quite a few mammals and reptiles/amphibians, and loads of flowers.
