We enjoyed this birding tour of Southern Spain. The guides were excellent. They knew where to find the birds including the specialties. The Whale Watching Excursion was fantastic. We watched a pod of Pilot whales hang out right beside the boat. The countryside was blanketed with wild flowers. While looking for birds, the group also visited historical sites, villages, natural reserves and National Parks and a enjoyed a sampling of local cuisine. We recommend going a few days before the tour starts and staying on a few days after the tour ends. There are easy day trips from Malaga where the tour started and it was easy to explore Madrid from the hotel where the tour ended.

A well organized tour with expert guides whose deep knowledge of the natural and historical background of the regions visited. Lodgings were varied and comfortable serving good regional specialties. Highly recommend!

The tour gave us a good overview of birds and sights of southern Spain. Accommodations were comfortable and varied. Our first post-Covid tour and we enjoyed the experience very much. Will travel with Eagle-Eye again.

Too long ago [more than 4yrs] to say more than I enjoyed,as always, being part of a very small group--5 or 6--with Richard & his wife as guides. There was rather less birding and more travelling than usual. I did not mind this but in the future this should be considered if you are catering to the birding customers. Compared to previous trips with Eagle-eye it was not as memorable as Chile or NZ,more on a par with the tour to N.AB,Yellowknife and Cambridge Bay in my rusty memory

This tour was well organized, so we saw a great variety of habitat including mountains, plains, forests, agricultural areas, seashore, marshes, unique small Spanish villages and Roman ruins - spending much time in National Parks. Our guides were excellent. They knew the birds well and where to find them so we saw a good variety of species They were also well informed about Spanish history and culture. They prepared lovely lunches for us on most days and attended to our needs at all times. We visited the famous historic village of Ronda and were able to attend a club where we saw authentic Flamenco dancing. One of the most memorable moments was when we were able to access a private area high above the Strait of Gibraltar with a view to nearby Morocco and raptors migrating north. Having two guides with two vans for transport of a small group was a bonus. Accommodations were very good including meals, although two of them lacked Wifi access in the rooms. The scenery in this part of Spain is magnificent not to mention the birding. I would take this tour again if the opportunity arose. Thank you Eagle Eye, Pablo and Javi Marlene Ontario Canada
